A TEENAGER has been spared jail despite admitting a number of sex offences.

Aaron Crawley, 18, appeared at Teesside Crown Court after he pleaded guilty to offences including inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and causing child pornography.

He also admitted two counts of possessing indecent images and one of making indecent images.

But the judge decided he needed specialist help to prevent him offending in a similar way again.

Judge Peter Armstrong sentenced Crawley, of Oxford Street, Hartlepool, to 16 months’ jail which was suspended for two years.
