How did man hurt ankle?

POLICE are appealing for help to try and find out how a man suffered a serious ankle injury.

A passer-by went to the man’s aid at around 5.30am on Friday, December 23, near to Barclays Bank, in York Road, Hartlepool.

He was taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of North Tees, in Stockton.

A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “He had seriously injured his right ankle, but did not know how it had happened.”
