A 19-YEAR-OLD man arrested after a teenager girl was stabbed at a house party has been remanded to appear before a judge.
The man, from Hartlepool, has been charged with wounding, affray and causing actual bodily harm following an incident at a house in Attlee Avenue, Blackhall Rocks, at the weekend.
The teenager appeared at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was remanded in custody.
He will next appear at Durham Crown Court tomorrow for a preliminary hearing before a judge.
The Hartlepool Mail reported yesterday that the victim, a 17-year-old girl from Blackhall, was rushed to the University Hospital of North Tees, in Stockton.
But she was released a few hours after the incident, which happened around 3.30am on Saturday.
