Man attacked outside Hartlepool lapdancing club

A MAN has suffered serious facial injuries after being attacked outside of a lap-dancing club.

A 35-year-old reveller was outside of the Little Black Book, on Whitby Street, in Hartlepool, at around 2.30am on Saturday, November 1, when he was approached by a man and assaulted.

The victim attended the University Hospital of North Tees, in Stockton, where he was treated for a fractured eye socket and cheekbone.

Doctors have said that he will need further treatment.

Today, a spokeswoman for Cleveland Police appealed for witnesses to come forward.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his late twenties to early thirties, around 6ft tall, and of muscular build, with brown hair.

He was wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
