A MAN has been found with a stab wound outside a Hartlepool takeaway

It happened outside Thai Pan, in Duke Street, just after 6pm on Friday.

A 30-year-old man suffered a wound to the arm thought to be caused by a knife and was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.

A spokesman for Cleveland Police said: “We were called at 6.05pm on Friday to Duke Street, near to Thai Pan takeaway after a male was found with a wound to the arm.

“Officers attended the scene.

“The victim was a 30-year-old male and he is currently being treated ambulance service personnel.

“His injuries are not life-threatening.”
