Man hurt in vicious flat attack

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was left with two broken arms in a attack.

The man was assaulted at a flat above a shop on Mill Lane in Billingham by a group of unknown men.

The 54-year-old victim believes two or three men entered the property before assaulting him.

He was left with two broken arms, facial bruising and his two front teeth were knocked out in the attack.

He remains in the University Hospital of North Tees, in Stockton, for treatment.

His red and white Muddy Fox bike was stolen during the incident and police are appealing for anyone who has been offered one for sale on the black market to come forward.

The attack happened at around 7pm on Friday, August 9.
