Man robbed of cash in knifepoint robbery

A man has been robbed at knifepoint while sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in Hartlepool.

The 21-year-old delivery driver was sitting in the vehicle in Lakeland Walk, in Hartlepool when he was approached by a man.

He victim was threatened with a knife and money was demanded from him.

The robber escaped with an amount of cash towards Borrowdale Street/Windermere Road.

The robbery happened on Saturday October 3 at around 10:20pm

He is described as white and in his late twenties.

He is believed to have been wearing grey jogging bottoms and a blue jacket with a hood, with the hood pulled over his face.
