Motorist suffers suspected broken nose in road rage attack

A MOTORIST suffered a suspected broken nose and bruising after a road rage attack.

The 27-year-old man was driving on the A1027 towards Billingham, near to Wolviston Road, at around 5.30pm last Friday, December 13.

An Audi A4 then suddenly stopped in front and a blonde woman got out and approached the man’s car before starting an argument.

A man then approached the car from behind and punched the victim twice in the face, causing swelling, bruising and a suspected broken nose.

The road was busy at the time and it is believed that a number of vehicles had to stop. Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack. Anyone with information should contact PC Jonathan Collins on 101.
