Police appeal after burglary

TOOLS, copper piping and clothes were all stolen from a building in Hartlepool.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses to the burglary at Wynyard House, in Wynyard Road, which happened some time between 6pm on Tuesday, November and 6am on Thursday, November 14.

Tools were snatched along with a large quantity of copper piping and Housing Hartlepool clothing, including tops with Housing Hartlepool embroidered on and dark blue combat trousers.

Detective Constable Simon Clark said: “We would remind people to be vigilant when answering the door to anyone, always ask for identification and if any further clarification is needed then we would advise people to contact the organisations concerned.”
