Police appeal after man suffers broken jaw in Hartlepool

POLICE are appealing for information after a 28-year-old man in Hartlepool was assaulted following a night out.

The assault took place between 3am and 3:30am on Saturday 7th March inside the Showroom public house, Victoria Road, Hartlepool. The male was left with a broken jaw and taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.

The victim was out on the Friday night into the early hours of Saturday morning when the attack happened. Following on from the assault, he spent two days having plates put into his lower jaw to fix the damage caused by the attack.
