Police arrest teen after Hartlepool house party spills into street

A TEENAGER was arrested after a party got out of hand.

A member of the public rang police after a disturbance in Mulgrave Road, which is off Grange Road in Hartlepool, after a house party spilled into the street at the weekend.

Police say some of the teenagers a the party were described as being “anti-social”.

Some were given warnings and one 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence following the incident, which happened around 9.45pm on Saturday.

A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: “A member of the public rang in reporting a disturbance in Mulgrave Road.
“Police attended and a party had spilled out into the street.

“Some of the teenagers were being anti-social and police dispersed them.

“A number of the teenagers were given warnings.

“One 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and has been bailed.”
