Police have launched an appeal to track down a mystery driver after a man was hurt when his van flipped over on a busy route.

The white Ford Transit van rolled over on the A19 Tees Flyover at about 12.35pm on Sunday, December 6 - causing major disruption for motorists on the southbound carriageway.

Now Cleveland Police are appealing to trace the driver of a bright orange coloured car, which is believed to have been on the A19 Tees Flyover at the time of the incident

Officers would like to speak to the driver of the orange car, as it is believed that they may be able to assist with inquiries.

The 41-year-old male driver of the van was treated by paramedics at the scene. He suffered minor injuries.
