A 17-YEAR-OLD man arrested on suspicion of the murder of a former Hartlepool boxer has been released without charge.
Police have confirmed that the teenager has been freed from their custody following hours of questioning by detectives after the New Year’s Eve killing of Mark Denton.
The two other men, a 23-year-old and a man in his 20s, are still being held by officers to face further questioning throughout the course of today.
The scene of the crime in Hutton Avenue, Hartlepool, is still taped off and is being guarded by uniformed police officers.
More flowers have been laid at the scene by mourners shocked at the death of the 31-year-old.
