Police want to speak to three males in connection with an assault

Police have released CCTV footage of people they would like to speak to in connection with an assault on a teenager.

A 16-year-old boy was left with a broken cheekbone and a bleed to the brain following the assault in Billingham Town Centre.

The incident happened in January and Cleveland Police have now released footage of two of the three people they want to speak to .

A spokesman for the force, said: "It is believed three males were responsible for the assault and officers would like to speak to all three of the males, but only two of them are shown in the footage."

The incident happened at around 9.25pm on Wednesday, January 18, when the victim was walking along Fichale Avenue in the direction of The Causeway.

He was approached by the three males who assaulted him and he needed treatment at The University Hospital of North Tees.

Both males on the footage are described as being white and one of them is thought to be between 15-17-years-old.
