Road rage attack in Hartlepool after motorist ‘cut up’

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was hurt in a road rage attack.

The incident occured at around midday on Thursday, October 30.

The assault took place following an incident in which one vehicle was allegedly ‘cut up’ by another.

The victim, a 28-year-old man, and the driver of the offending vehicle, believed to be a light blue coloured Ford Fiesta, both pulled up on Whin Meadows, Hartlepool, before the victim was punched, leaving him with facial injuries. He was treated at the One Life Centre.

The suspect is described as aged in his early 20s, of slim build with brown hair.
