Three arrested after a man is attacked in Billingham street

Three people have been arrested after a man was attacked in Billingham.

The 27-year-old was at the junction of Rievaulx Avenue and Marshhouse Avenue in Billingham when he was set upon by three men.

The attack happened at about 3pm on Saturday September 12.

The victim was taken to James Cook University Hospital with injuries to his head and face and later released.

Three men aged 18, 21 and 22 were arrested on suspicion of assault. They have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
