Officers found around 150 plants, with a street value of about £67,000, after a search of the property in Braemar Road, Billingham, yesterday.

No arrests have been made, however, inquiries are ongoing.

Detective Sergeant Nigel McCartney, from the Community Drugs Enforcement Team, said: “Enquiries are continuing with regards to the two cannabis farms that were discovered yesterday.

“We would encourage anyone with information regarding either of these or any other drugs activity in their area to contact police on 101, or the confidential drugs line on 0800 092 9702.”
