Two men arrested on suspicion of drug dealing on Hartlepool’s Headland

TWO men have received cautions after being arrested on suspicion of drug-dealing.

Police pulled over a vehicle in St Cuthbert’s Street, on Hartlepool’s Headland and two men, aged 23 and 18, were arrested.

The 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.

The 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.

The incident happened around 9.45pm on Monday.

A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “A vehicle was stopped at about 9.45pm on Monday in St Cuthbert’s Street in Hartlepool.

“Two males were arrested, the 23-year-old on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and the 18-year-old on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.

“Both males received cautions.”
