A HOODED yob threw a brick at a car that was carrying a seven-year-old boy.
Manor College of Technology, she drove past a group of around four or five youths, aged around 13 to 15, who were loitering on the corner in black tracksuits with their hoods up.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “One of the youths then threw a heavy object, possibly a brick, onto the windscreen of the vehicle causing the woman to break and stop harshly and the windscreen to crack.”
The youths are thought to have made off along Maxwell Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident that took place at around 7pm on Thursday, March 3.
