Dragon on Kilimanjaro

A BUSINESS tycoon is climbing Africa’s highest mountain alongside injured servicemen.

Duncan Bannatyne, 63, who lives at Wynyard Village near Hartlepool, is currently climbing the 19,341ft Mount Kilimanjaro for forces charity Pilgrim Bandits, of which he is a patron.

Mr Bannatyne, who has been preparing his body using an altitude machine, set off in the early hours of Friday morning and tweeted yesterday: “Day 3 over & we peaked at 4,200k on kilimanjaro with @pilgrimscharity.”
