Driver injured in two-car collision

EMERGENCY services were called after a two-car collision.

Police, paramedics and fire officers were all called to Osborne Road, in Hartlepool, after the incident at around 11.45am yesterday.

A grey Ford Ka and a blue Vauxhall Vectra had collided and were blocking the road.

One of the drivers suffered minor injuries and was taken to the University Hospital of Hospital. Firefighters from Stranton Station were called to clean a fuel spillage.

A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police confirmed they had received reports of the incident at around 11.45am yesterday.

A North East Ambulance Service spokeswoman said one person was treated for minor injuries and taken to the University Hospital of Hartlepool.
