We asked some Year 6 pupils from St Cuthbert’s Primary School, in Hartlepool, who would be their favourite celebrity dinner guest and where they would take them for a meal.

Harry Sissons said: “I would take Sylvester Stallone to Nandos.

“I think I’d watch a film with him and see if there were any new ones coming out. I like Rocky and Rambo the best because they are full of action and I like action films.”

Damia Saracut said: “I would take Katy Perry the singer to Pizza Hut. I’d talk about singing and how she felt when she sang Fireworks, which is my favourite.”

Maggie McCarthy said: “ I would take David Walliams to the funfair. He is a writer and I like Billy and his Gangsta Granny and we’d talk about his book and how he became a writer.

“You can have a good laugh at the funfair.”

Kayleigh Fenwick-Hamilton would pick Geoff Kinney the author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. “I’d take him to McDonald’s.

“I’d talk about his books with him.”

Danielle Egan would take Nicholas Cage to the carnival.

“He does horror films and comedies and my favourite is Ghost Rider where he is a skeleton because he made a deal with the devil.

“I am a horror fan. The carnival would be good to have a fun time and talk.”

Harry Walker said he’d take Cristiano Ronaldo to the camp where Real Madrid train so I could meet all the players.

“He has inspired me to play football. I play on the left wing and I’m the playmaker of the team though I do score a few goals.”
