YOUNGSTERS get right into the festive spirit during a string of school projects.
The cuties from Grange Primary School, in Owton Manor Lane, Hartlepool, learned and rehearsed songs and lines for their Christmas carol singing show, and have also have been involved in festive enterprising schemes which have been added into the school curriculum.
Each class was given a budget of £20 which they used to either make or sell a Christmas-themed product.
And the crafty kids came up with selling reindeer dust, marshmallow snowmen and Christmas decorations.
Headteacher Leanne Yates said: “We’ve split the school into different teams this year and each team has taken responsibility for their own performances.
“So, we’ve ended up with lots of different and entertaining performances.
“I’m so proud of all of the hard work that’s gone into the performances and the overwhelming support by parents and carers and families.”
She added: “The children have really enjoyed the enterprising side of it all as well, it’s been a learning experience for them as well as having fun.”
