The Oscar Playcentre is based at West Hartlepool Rugby Club on Catcote Road and has arranged a package of activities for children aged three to 16 from today to Friday.
The service, which has been running for more than 20 years, has been rated as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted inspectors.

A wide range of activities have been lined up for youngsters as Sandra Robinson, the council’s Out of School Co-ordinator, said: “The team have put together a varied programme which include fun with food, face painting, making a totum pole, sports and games and needlework.
“We’ve also got trips lined up to the Vue Cinema, Summerhill and Burn Valley Gardens.
“Our experienced team are great with the children and everyone is looking forward to the half term programme.

“The emphasis is always on fun at Oscar’s and parents can relax knowing that their children are enjoying themselves and are in safe hands.”
