Year 6 pupils at Jesmond Gardens Primary School only have a few months left at the school.

We asked them what subject or events they were looking forward to in their time left there.

PUPILS have a variety of interests and ambitions and are looking forward to experiencing some new subjects and events before they leave.

Shannon Burns said she was looking forward to going to see a Broadway show in London on the school trip.

“They have seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda when they have been before.

“I’d like to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because it sounds more exciting.”

Jack Harrison said: “I like art because I like drawing and combining colours together to see what cool drawings I can do.

“I like to draw my own characters.”

Brandon Horsely said he was looking forward to the Sats.

“I just want to do my best and get the best marks I can.

“My favourite subject is maths.”

Morgan Horsely said she was looking forward to the next topic.

“I don’t know what it is because the teacher keeps it as a surprise.

“I’d like to learn a lot more about the past because I like history.”

Maddison McGarry said she was looking forward to relaxing after Sats.

“I think I might do well but not too well. My favourite subject is English.

“We’ll be going to McDonald’s to celebrate.”

Adam Saint said he was looking forward to going on the school London trip.

“I think we are going to Trafalgar Square and saying in a four-star hotel.

“I’m really looking forward to it.”
