Pupils at a Peterlee school entertained an invited audience with their end of term production.

The Year 6 children at Shotton Hall Primary School took to the stage to perform ‘Cinderella Rockafella’ in front of parents and governors.

The performance was also accompanied by an afternoon tea.

Pippa Ellis, one of the governors at the school, said: “The performance was excellent, funny and showed a lot of talent.

“Well done to everybody, and thank you for an afternoon to remember.”

Headteacher Anita Boyd said: “I was delighted with our Year 6 children as they gave a show to remember for parents and friends of the school.

“They have been a pleasure to work with in this very difficult time of great change in education, but they have done us proud.”
