VIDEO: Summer fun for Throston childen in First Class

SCHOOL’s very nearly out for another year for primary and secondary school pupils.

After a hardworking year for the Year 6 youngsters at Throston Primary School, the children now have their eyes set on an action-packed summer.

They discussed their plans for the six weeks holidays.

Sian Trotter, who is celebrating her 11th birthday today, said: “I am going to spend a couple of days with my auntie in Harrogate which I think will be really good.

“I think I’ll also spend quite a lot of time playing out with my mates.”

Jennifer Armstrong, 10, said: “In the summer holidays I am going to Gran Canaria for a week which I’m really looking forward to.

“I’m going to Alton Towers as well which will be brilliant.”

Becky Hill, 11, said: “Over the summer holidays I’m going to Cyprus.

“I’m also looking forward to playing out with my mates, especially if the weather stays like it has been.”

Daniel Maness, 11, said: “I’m going to Telford for three days with my family, but I’m also going camping.

“It’s going to be quite a busy summer which will be really good.”

Mandip Sidhu, 10, said: “I’m not really sure what I’m going to do this summer.

“I will probably spend quite a lot of time playing on my X Box which is always good.

“But if the weather is really nice it will be good to play out as well.”

Jessica Evans, 11, said: “I’m going camping this summer.

“I’ve never been camping before but I think it will be really good, it will be a nice change and it’s something good to look forward to.”
