It’s home sweet home for these lucky nursery and school children.

The youngsters from West View Primary School, in Davison Drive, Hartlepool, received a gorgeous wooden play house from housing provider Esh Homes.

And children aged from two to five have been playing with it constantly since its arrival.

Nursery teacher Laura Wears said: “The children in early years at West View would like to thank Esh Homes for gifting them the wooden play house.

“It has provided the children with plenty of opportunities to play and explore.

“It has certainly enriched the children’s learning and playing environment.”

The wooden structure is like a miniature house with an entrance, and a room, with a back wall that the kids can see out of.

It will be used by about 150 children, most of who have already had snack time in there and spent many hours playing.

Mrs Wears said: “They love it, they’ve never been out of it.

“They think it’s the best thing since sliced bread!”
