Residents in Billingham streets have just a few days left to find out how much they have won on the Postcode Lottery.

Players of People’s Postcode Lottery from Billingham will find out exactly how much of the £3million prize pot they will each win at the weekend.

Last week, it was announced that TS22 5 was the winning postcode sector in May’s Postcode Millions.

Players will find out exactly how much they’ve won during a special event on Saturday, June 3, at The Grand Marquee at Wynyard Hall.

It has been revealed that the minimum amount won by players is £500. Those living in the full winning postcode sector, which will be revealed on the day, will receive the largest share of the money.

People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription based lottery where players play with their postcodes to win cash prizes whilst raising money for charities.

A minimum of 30% goes directly to good causes and players have raised over £197.5 Million for charities across Great Britain and internationally.

Stuart Dexter, Chief Executive at player-supported charity, Daisy Chain, is excited that the prize pot has landed in the North East.

He said: "Congratulations and good luck to all the winners of the Postcode Millions in Billingham. Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have been supporting Daisy Chain since 2009 and have made a huge difference to the lives of families affected by autism in the Tees Valley.

"We are delighted to be able to meet with local players at the event, thank them for their support and congratulate them on their win.”

People’s Postcode Lottery Ambassador and former TFM Radio presenter, Judie McCourt, said: “It’s not long until I get to meet the players from Billingham and I am so excited to present them with their cheques.

"The favourite part of my job is hearing about what people will do with their winnings and I hope the players from Billingham will have some exciting plans.”
