MUSIC fans are being warned to get to a rock concert early with huge crowds expected at the event.
Bon Jovi are playing at the Stadium of Light, in Sunderland, on Thursday and concert-goers are reminded that the roads surrounding the venue will be closed and there will be no parking available.
The thousands of fans heading to the concert are encouraged to arrive early, with acts taking to the stage from early evening.
The multi-million sellers will be supported by The Futureheads as well as up and coming indie band, As Kings and Captains, who won the chance to perform on the world tour.
Support acts will start around 5.45pm, and the concert will finish around 11pm.
Marquees serving food and drink will be erected around the stadium and will open at 2pm.
