FARMYARD fun was the name of the game at a church fundraiser.

St Luke’s Church, in Tunstall Avenue, Hartlepool, hosted their annual garden party and this year’s theme was farming.

Visitors dressed to impress and got into the spirit of the event with prizes on offer for the best dressed youngsters.

There was a host of fun and games including a coconut shy, face painter, bouncy castle and a slide.

For older folk there was a variety of stalls including cakes and preserves, plants and produce, bric-a-brac and books plus strawberry teas and hotdogs for sale.

Hartlepool Borough Council’s countryside wardens attended with free children’s activities and entertainment while entertainment was provided by the Hartlepool Silver Band.
