ENTREPRENEURIAL ambition is on show as one successful student gets set to start his own clothing range after scoring top grades.
English Martyrs School and Sixth Form College student Luke Robertson achieved three A*s in graphic design, photography and product design – amazingly completing a full A-level in graphic design in just eight months.
But instead of following the usual route of going to university, the creative 18-year-old is setting up his own clothing business.
The Bishop Cuthbert teenager even had a meeting at the Brougham Enterprise Centre only hours after picking up his results to talk about launching an urban label called King.
Luke said: “I’ve always wanted to work for myself and clothes seems the right thing to do.
“I’m really excited to get started. It’s going to be hard work but I have the determination to do it and make it work.”
