EVERYTHING is coming together nicely ahead of the very first Headland Christmas Extravaganza.

The weekend-long event on the Headland will feature everything from a festive market to carol singing, displays, shows and funfair rides.

And now kind-hearted Jim Croll has given the event his backing and the town’s fundraising Santa will be making an appearance over the weekend.

The fun-filled event will take place on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15 from 1.30pm-7.30pm both days. Traders will be selling gifts at the festive market on both days on the Town Square and a limited number of spots to sell are still available.

A spokeswoman for the Headland Carnival Committee, the event organisers, said: “Everything is in place and we are sure this is going to be a fantastic weekend to remember.”

For more information or any traders, groups or individuals who would like to get involved should contact Natalie Hogg on 07880234632.
