Firefighters called out to tackle fire in Hartlepool home

A BEDROOM was severely damaged when a house went up in flames.

Firefighters from Stranton Station rushed to Carlton Street, in Hartlepool, at around 11.15am on Saturday.

The upstairs bedroom was destroyed and the first floor of the property was left badly smoke damaged after the blaze.

Two appliances from Stranton Station attended the incident.

It’s believed nobody was injured in the fire.
