COULD you and your football team be looking good this season?
You certainly could be if you enter a brand new competition to win a brand new strip for your football team.
In a link-up between the Hartlepool Mail and Specsavers in the Middleton Grange Shopping Centre, we are launching our newest contest.
One lucky team will get to win a complete outfit for all the team in the colour and style you want.
And to stand a chance of winning, all you have to do is collect a token which will be published in the Hartlepool Mail each day this week.
Then, when you have gathered them all, send them in with a covering letter to tell us why you deserve to be the team which picks up this fantastic prize.
There’s five tokens to collect - one each day between today and Friday.
It’s a great chance for you to kit your squad out in the very style YOU choose.
The competition starts today and Specsavers store director Ian Walker said: “We like to give something back to the community and we thought this would be a great way to do just that.
“We want to supply a football strip for a team in their choice of colours.
“We have an obvious link to sport. We supported the Hartlepool Mail Sports Awards and we thought it would be nice to continue in the same vein.”
Just as enthusiastic about it all was Ross Hutcheson who, like Ian, is a director at the Middleton Grange Specsavers branch.
He urged sports fans to enter and added: “It couldn’t be easier. All we need is for people to come forward.”
So what are you waiting for? All we need now is for interested people to get in touch.
You could be an email away from winning a brand new look for your side in an easy-to-enter competition link-up between the Hartlepool Mail and Specsavers.
The winning team will be presented with their new strips by former Pools legend Joe Allon.
It’s a fabulous chance for you win the smartest of prizes just by collecting tokens and sending in a few details.
Remember to include your name, telephone number and email address, as well as lots of detail about the team you represent.
Tell us your personal stories on why your team is such a deserving cause.
Send your entry to Hartlepool Mail head of features Chris Cordner, Echo House, Pennywell, Sunderland, SR4 9ER.
