FIREFIGHTERS have announced that they will stage a fourth walkout after talks broke down over pensions.

Members of the Fire Brigades’ Union (FBU) at Cleveland Fire Brigade and County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service will stage a fourth period of industrial action, from 10am-2pm on Wednesday, November 13.

Residents and businesses are being urged to take extra care during the walkout.

Durham fire chiefs say they are disappointed that an agreement has not been reached.
