YOUNGSTERS can join in with the fun at an activity-packed group who meet once a week.
Children enjoy games and quizzes every week when the Jesus A Friend For All (JAFFA) group meet at the Borough Hall, on the Headland.
The JAFFA group was set up around six years ago and is linked with the Headland Christian Fellowship, in Hartlepool.
Children aged between three and 10 years old come together every Monday evening from 5pm-6.15pm and enjoy the fun activities.
Josephine Bonner is the team leader at the group.
Josephine, 47, who works in the Headland Library and lives in the Fens area of Hartlepool with husband, Derek, 61, said: “The youngsters come to the group every week and really enjoy themselves.
“We do a whole range of fun, games and quizzes and we also do some very simple bible study.
“It’s something for the children to do on a Monday night and it keeps them busy.”
Youngsters who are interested in taking part in the JAFFA group sessions should go to the Borough Hall, on the Headland on a Monday evening at 5pm.
The sessions only run during term time.
