Get in tune with heart charity

A MUSICAL way to support charity is on offer in Hartlepool.

The British Heart Foundation Hartlepool branch is hoping people will attend a fundraising evening with live music, food and a raffle.

It will be held at the Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience on Thursday, May 30.

Music will be provided by bands including Skyran and Blind Stag. A meal is also included in the ticket price of £10.

The foundation has had a long association with Hartlepool.

The British Heart Foundation chose Hartlepool to become its first (BHF) Heart Town in the North.

BHF officials felt the town was an ideal place to target for help at a time when more than 100 people were still dying of heart disease in Hartlepool each year.
