Popular reality show Don’t Tell The Bride is looking for North East couples to take part in its new series.

The Bafta-nominated show, which has moved to its new home on Sky One, follows a couple as the husband-to-be plans a wedding for his bride.

Producers of the show are hoping to find couples from the North East to take part in the show.

The groom is given three weeks to plan an entire wedding from scratch, from the venue to the cake, and even the wedding dress, with a budget of £14,000.

The successful couples will be wed this year.

A spokesman for the show said: “At a time when saving for a wedding is a distant dream for many, Don’t Tell The Bride offers couples the chance to have their wedding this year without the stress of saving for it.

“It’s a unique and memorable way for couples to tie the knot in 2016. And with it’s exciting new move to Sky One comes a brand new wedding budget, grooms will now have £14,000 to plan their dream wedding.”
