PEOPLE are being urged to support a charity family fun day next month.

Hartlepool Marina will be awash with fun, games and activities when TFM Radio’s Cash for Kids event comes to town on Saturday, August 6.

As well as the hundreds of families, 5,000 plastic ducks will be making an appearance for the popular duck race.

People can already buy certificates containing a unique number for one of the ducks.

TFM’s crew will release them into the water and theperson whose number matches the one on the first duck past the line is in with a chance of winning a luxury holiday, courtesy of Co-op Travel.

Money raised from the certificates and during the fun day will all go towards the Cash for Kids charity, which helps underprivileged youngsters across the Tees Valley.

Certificates are available from Mail reception in Wesley Square, Hartlepool, priced at £5 each.
