57,000 runners successfully got places to the 2015 Great North Run

•Charity runners will raise £25million for charities

3,000 volunteers will help out on the day

38 baggage buses will carry runners’ kit to the finish line

16 bands are performing along the route

•There will be four hours of live coverage on BBC TV

•Runners will need 228,000 safety pins between them to affix their numbers

•The average runner will burn 1,500 calories on the route
