Hart Village fireworks cancelled due to weather

Rain, strong winds and falling temperatures have all contributed to tonight's event being cancelled.

Other firework displays in the Hartlepool area are currently expected to go ahead as planned.

A post on the Hart Village Events Facebook page said: "We are all very disappointed to have to cancel this event a lot of work has gone into this already but due to the weather conditions it has to be cancelled for health and safety reasons."
