Hot Potato favourite Danny McLoughlin will be the master of ceremonies. He will be supported by Jeff Innocent and former Scottish comedian of the year Mark Nelson sharing headline duties.

Tickets are already being snapped up and Peter Vincent, of promoters Ten Feet Tall, said: “We’ve had another fantastic year of Saturday nights in Hartlepool, and our Christmas special is always an amazing gig to top things off.

“This year is no different, and we have an incredible line-up to enjoy here.”

Cockney star Jeff Innocent is a favourite on the comedy scene and was nominated as best live comic this year by Chortle.

Peter said he was delighted to have Jeff starring in Hartlepool and he would be appearing with a wonderful line-up.

Former Scottish comedian of the year Mark Nelson was described by Peter as having a “dark, sarcastic and massively hilarious take on the world”.

And Danny McLoughlin has been a popular support for the likes of Sean Lock and Micky Flanagan.

Peter described the line-up as one of the best to be found in the country.

The Christmas special starts at 8pm on December 12 and tickets are £12 each.
