Hartlepool have a busy weekend ahead of them as they play three games in two days.

Pool first host Normanby Hall in a league game at Park Drive tomorrow, before making the short trip to Norton on Sunday.

The Sunday fixtures will see them play Norton and Seaton Carew in the group stage of the explosive Fifteen15 competition.

Pool, though, will be focussed more on their league campaign as they find themselves languishing in mid-table.

They will be hoping a couple of positive

results will thwart any possibility of relegation.

Saturday’s opponents are caught up in that relegation battle and will see Pool as a must win game.

Pool name a much-changed side with Dale Metcalfe, Alan Tebbett, Callum Prosser and skipper Chris Harrison all unavailable.

They have also opted to drop Chris Smith into the second string.

Jake Richardson comes in to add some strength to the batting line up, whilst Brad Franks and Aaron Feroz make an appearance following some successful bowling spells in the second team.

Feroz and Franks will support an attack containing Olli Mole, Jonathan Carson and skipper for the day Lewis Stabler.

Pool will be hoping that whether they have to set or chase a target that they have sufficient fire power in their ranks.

Their Arsenal contains a top four consisting of Neil Coverdale, John Watson, Phil Mustard and Jon Rickard, all of whom have NYSD Premier League centuries under their belts.

And with Jake Richardson, Olli Mole and Lewis Stabler making up the top seven, Pool will be confident in their batting ability.

Sunday sees Pool shuffle their pack as they so often do for the Fifteen15 or cup tie cricket.

They will be hoping the side selected is strong enough to get them out of the group stages as they bid to defend their crown from last year.

Meanwhile, Seaton Carew host Stokesley in their NYSD league match tomorrow at Hornby Park, before heading to Norton on Sunday.
