Students at a Hartlepool school have been celebrating their Harvest Festival.

Pupils from Catcote Academy watched a student performance of The Enormous Turnip before donating food for the Harvest Festival.

The food will be donated to St Oswald’s Church which has close links with Wharton Trust in the Dyke House area of Hartlepool, who support people in the area.

The academy chose to donate the food there as by strengthening the bond between school and the community it is promoting the academy’s ethos to look after and be part of the community and give something back.

Catcote Academy would like to thank parents, carers and students for their contributions to the Harvest Festival.
