Hartlepool United are heading to Tenerife for a pre-season training camp.
Pools will train at the T3 facility in La Caleta in the south-west of the island from July 10-17.
Craig Hignett has also earmarked two frierndlies for his squad at the training base which has been used by Liverpool and Manchester City in the past.
“It’s a fantastic facility so to get all the lads away for a week will aid the team spirit and allow us to do some really specific work,” Hignett told the club website..
“Hopefully we’ll have a few new faces in the group by then and to be in each other’s pockets for seven days will accelerate them getting to know one another.
“The place there really is top notch – the pitches are fantastic.
“They have everything you need on-site and I think it shows the direction the club is moving in that we’re going to places like this.”
Pools currently have only one pre-season friendly booked in, a trip to Salford City on Tuesday, July 26.
