Hartlepool parents looking for something to keep their children entertained during the holidays are being urged to snap up the last few places available at a summer dance school.

Karen Liddle School of Dance is holding a two-week summer school during the holidays kicking off on Monday, July 31.

Places are still available for youngsters to take part in the fun programme of activities at the school ahead of the deadline tomorrow, Saturday, June 3.

Teacher Karen said: “If you are looking for activities for the kids to do in the summer holidays, why not sign up for our summer school?

“Kids can take part in two weeks packed full of fun, games and trips.

“It is open to both boys and girls of all ages and both students and non-students of the school - no dance background necessary to attend.”

The first week will run from Monday, July 31 until Friday, August 4. The second week will run from Monday, August 7 until Friday, August 11.

It will run each day from 10am to 3pm, and children can be dropped off from 9.30am and picked up no later than 3.30pm.

Previous summer school activities have included cake decorating, interactive workshops and games.

A weekly pass is £50, which includes a t-shirt and a daily pass is £12.50.

Some activities have an additional cost for transport or entrance fees.

To sign up complete the application form available on the Karen Liddle School of Dance Facebook page and return it to the school on York Road with the relevant deposit by Saturday, June 3.
