RESIDENTS can have their say about plans to improve the sea defences along Hartlepool’s northern stretch of coastline at an event next week.
Hartlepool Borough Council is currently reviewing its 2006 coastal protection strategy for the area from Crimdon down to Newburn Bridge.
As part of that, the local authority is keen to hear people’s views on the work it has done so far and is holding a drop-in consultation event on Wednesday, July 6.
The event will be held in the Borough Hall on the Headland between 1pm and 7pm.
For anyone that cannot make it but would like more information call Dennis Hancock, the council’s principal engineer, on (01429) 523207.
