THE following case was dealt with at Hartlepool Magistrates’ Court on July 20:

Peter Edward Twidale, 24, of Longfellow Walk, Hartlepool, was fined £270, was banned from driving for 20 months and was ordered to pay £85 costs with a £15 victim surcharge after admitting driving a Citroen C1 in Brierton Lane, Hartlepool, with excess alcohol, namely 103 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35, on July 9.

THE following cases were dealt with at Hartlepool Magistrates’ Court on July 21:

Lindsay Marie Adams, of Park Road North, Middlesbrough, was ordered to pay £500 compensation after admitting damaging a windscreen and two doors on a DAF105 lorry in Hartlepool on July 8 and breaching a 12-month conditional discharge imposed on January 19 for theft.

James Mark Bridgeman, 20, of Burbank Street, Hartlepool, was given a six-month community order with supervision, made subject to a six-month restraining order and ordered to pay £5 compensation and £40 costs after admitting damaging a window on April 15.

Darren Yellow, 37, of Armadale Grove, Hartlepool, was given a 12-month community order with 120 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 costs after admitting assaulting a woman on June 26.

Paul Alan Coombs, 39, of Straker Street, Hartlepool, was given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £120 compensation and £80 costs after admitting stealing an iPod and docking station on May 6 and a purse worth £130 on May 3.
