FITNESS fans are being invited to show off their moves for charity.
And they are being urged to wear pink for the mammoth zumba session in aid of Breast Cancer Care.
Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance exercise and people of any fitness level are said to be able to take part in the two-hour class.
The event is being organised by Dawn Attrill and Alison Turnbull, who are both fitness instructors and zumba teachers.
It will take place from 3pm-5pm on Saturday, in the Prescott Sport’s Centre, which is behind East Durham College, in Willerby Grove, Peterlee.
College bosses have kindly donated the use of the hall for the day and all money raised will go to the cancer-fighting charity.
Dawn said: “People can just turn up on the day and take part.
“Zumba is really accessible and is a lot of fun, you don’t even realise you’re exercising.
“It will be raising money for Breast Cancer Care, but is also a chance for people to try out zumba.
“Hopefully lots of people turn up and we have a great day and raise lots of money.”
Sponsorship forms are available by emailing email@example.com or your can donate to the charity on the day.
